Bingham Mixed maintain Title challenge

Bingham first Mixed are keeping the pressure on the leaders in the Premier Mixed Division with an emphatic 9-0 victory over Forest 2, thereby gaining revenge for an earlier loss to Forest 1, but keeps them hot on the heels of the League leaders.
Bingham 2 - also in the Premier Division - gained their first win with a comfortable 8-1 success against Mansfield Oaktree, whilst two 8-1 victories by Bingham 3 against East Leake and Away at Chilwell 1, takes them to the top of Division 2B.

Beeston Fields 1 scored an 8-1 win Away at Mansfield Oaktree 1 to retain a grip on the Premier Mixed Trophy, the second team defeating Mapperley Park 1 by 7-2 to remain unbeaten and lead the way in Division 1.
Also in Division 1, Matt Adcock and Julie Gator won their three rubbers to guide Byron 1 to a 6-3 win over Forest 3. Byron 2 going down 5-4 in 2A to visitors Boots 1 in a marathon contest of eight three-setters with a total points difference of 1 (482-483).
Kevin and Denise Langley were unbeaten to anchor Southwell 2's 5-4 win at Beeston Valley 2 in Division 3B but then went down 7-2 Away at St Giles 2, who's Alex Mee and Tina Nothoff took their three rubbers.
Mapperley Park 4 edged a 5-4 verdict Away at Beeston Valley 2 in 3B, James Capel and Kathryn Britton being undefeated for the Home side but then lost 6-3 at Home to Beeston Fields 4 whose Sam Davies and Nicola Stacey won their three rubbers.
In Division 4B, Barry Martin and Christine Tinsley were unbeaten to lead Radcliffe Knights to a7-2 success at Redhill 3, Forest 4 defeating Beeston Fields 5 by 5-4 (points total 394-393), John Winfer and Marie O'Brien scoring three rubbers for Forest.

Three rubbers secured by Steve Barton and Darren Bridge guided St Giles 1 to a 6-3 win over Bingham 3 in Mens Division One, Naseeb 1 defeating Chilwell 1 by the same score in 2A, thanks to a maximum from Tahir Mahmood and Mazhar Khan Raja.
Mapperley Park 2 remain unbeaten in 2B, Gurj Singh and Adam Tyas taking three rubbers in their 7-2 win Away at Southwell 2. Beeston Valley 2 gaining their first win in 3B by beating Boots 3 by 5-4, Ric Latham and James Capel being undefeated for Valley.
Three rubbers from James Awcock and Kevin Cuthbert anchored St Giles 3's 5-4 win Away at Redhill in 4A. Social obtaining a 6-3 win Away at Experian in Division 5 but were unable to topple the Home sides' Kapil Chohan and Sharath Rajan who were unbeaten in taking all Experian's rubbers.

In the Ladies League, Mapperley Park 3 gained their first win in Division 2, overcoming St Giles 2 by 8-1, Kath Sutton and Rhia Simmonds scoring a maximum to back up Laura Jones and Anji Henderson who were unbeaten. An all-round team performance - each pair taking two rubbers - saw Boots defeat Byron 6-3 in Division 3.
