Masters Teams compete in National Tourney

Five of Nottinghamshire’s Masters Team’s competed in the Masters County Challenge Tournament over the weekend of 11/12th January 2020.

The format for this competition is one Men's, one Ladies and two Mixed rubbers.

Nott's performed very well, with two team's finishing 2nd, one team 4th and two in 5th place overall. Notable performances were from:-

Andy Cokayne (45s), Loraine Buck (50s) and Julie Peart (55s) - All unbeaten, playing in all matches for their respective teams.

O/40s results: Division 1A - venue Aldersley Stadium, Wolverhampton.
Northumberland: Drew 2-2, Glasgow North: Lost 0-4, Cheshire: Drew 2-2, Lincolnshire: Lost 1-3, Staffordshire: Lost 1-3, Worcestershire: Won 3-1.
Overall Final Position: 5th.
