Nott’s over 65s Ladies dominate

Nott’s 65s team entertained Leicestershire on their home courts at Chilwell Olympia on Sunday 28th January.
It was a tight match from the start.
Nott’s men were unable to overcome Leicestershire in the level doubles, while the Notts. Ladies proved to be too strong in the Ladies level doubles. Score 3-3 all. Result - all down to the Mixed. Each team requiring to win two of the remaining three rubbers.
Outstanding play from the Notts. team. All three pairs won convincingly in two straight sets.
Match result 6-3 to Notts.

Good to see John Brook playing for Notts. Masters again. His last appearance was for our 55s team some twelve years ago.

The team next play Warwickshire on 4th February at Chilwell Olympia.
