Notts stars face tough draw

England's players arrived in Jakarta for the Indonesian Open looking to make up for disappointment at last week's Li-Ning Singapore Open.

But the draw in Jakarta looks to be even tougher, especially in the men's doubles where all the England pairs face seeded opposition in the opening round.

Notts pair Nathan Robertson and Anthony Clark, the 2009 Singapore winners, start against Taiwan's third seeds Chen Hung Ling and Lin Yu Lang.

Ravenshead's Chris Adcock and partner Robert Blair take on Malaysian fourth seeds Choong Tan Fook and Lee Wan Wah.


Clark, desperate to get more matches under his belt after injury, is also out of luck in the mixed doubles.

For the second week running, he and Heather Olver must take on world champions and Singapore winners Thomas Laybourn and Kamilla Juhl.

Clark and Olver lost to the Danes in the Singapore second round in straight games.

Robertson and Jenny Wallwork will be keen to make up for their early exit in Singapore when they begin against Lee Sheng Mu and Chien Yu Chin of Taiwan.
