Great Effort From Notts U14's

Notts U14's came 6th in the recent York U14 Team Event. Their initial group could not have been tougher, with each team containing at least one England international. In two close matches they lost to Cheshire and Surrey, before going down 6-1 against the eventual winners, Yorkshire I.

In their second group they beat Yorkshire II 7-0 and finished with a 5-2 win against Leicestershire.

This was a very good effort by a young team - the youngest team taking part - with 8 of the 12 players being U13's or younger.
