Gold For English U17's

The English U17 Team secured a further four Gold medals at the Under 17 Six Nations, held recently in Sweden. Four out of the five individual disciplines were won by England team members. This took the medal haul for the weekend to a hugely impressive 5 Golds.

Chris Adcock (Nottinghamshire) and Marcus Ellis (Yorkshire) won the Boy's Doubles title without dropping a single game in the Individual or Team events.

Chris and Marcus won the final 15-4 and 15-10 against a German partnership of Sebastian Rduch (who won the Boy's Singles) and Josche Zurvonne.

Saving the best until last, Chris Adcock and Gabrielle White continued the theme of 'Double champions' by winning the mixed doubles together, adding to their men's and women's doubles titles respectively.

Chris and Gaby won the final 15-5, 15-6 against Morten Estrup and Ann Skelbaek from Denmark.
