65s Team complete their season with a decisive win.

Masters 55s and 65s teams entertained Buckinghamshire and Staffordshire respectively on their home courts at Chilwell Olympia on Sunday 20th March.

The 65s team playing their final League match of the season against Staffordshire, proved to be too strong for the visitors, winning the match 9-0 and thereby consolidating their 2nd place position in the Midlands League.
They have beaten Leicestershire, Worcestershire 2nd and Staffordshire home and away. Losing only to a strong Worcestershire 1st team who will progress to the League Finals in April.

The 55s playing their return match against Buckinghamshire, won three Men’s, three Ladies and three Mixed rubbers resulting in a comfortable 9-3 win to the Home side.
The team next play their final match of the season on April 3rd at Warwickshire.

This coming Saturday March 26th, our 50s team winners of the Midlands West League, are playing against Cambridgeshire, winners of the Midlands East League in a Play Off at Chilwell Olympia, start time 12.00 noon. The winning team will go through to the Championship Finals in Birmingham.
