As the end of another successful junior season approaches, Mark Attewell, Neil Franklin and Ali O’Neill have sadly informed me of their intention to step down from their roles as Treasurer, County Manager and Secretary for Nottinghamshire Outlaws. Mark, Neil and Ali have bought great passion and dedication to their respective roles and have been instrumental in the success of Nottinghamshire Junior Badminton as it recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic. I cannot thank Mark, Neil and Ali enough for their contributions.
As a result, they have all asked me to start the search for their replacements. To help achieve a smooth transition, all have offered to work alongside their incoming successors until they are comfortable to take the role forward on their own.
Please can I ask that you get in touch with me on the number below if you are interested in taking over from Mark, Neil or Ali.
In addition to these three roles, the Outlaws Committee is also keen to encourage new people to help run junior badminton within Nottinghamshire. In particular we need Team Managers for each Shires age category and this is ideally suited to a parent who has a child representing the team. Again, if you are interested in getting involved with this activity then please get in touch.
We remain a junior county association which is admired by many other counties across the country, but it goes without saying, that to retain our standing in the badminton community relies on willing volunteers!
I look forward to talking to anyone that is interested in keeping Nottinghamshire at the forefront of junior county badminton.
Thanks,
Carl Jennings
